Software Engineer / Full Stack Engineer (All Levels, Several Positions)

About the Roles

We're hiring several Software Engineers, from junior through to lead level, to join the team building the platform that disrupts professional services from within.

You're not patching legacy systems or shipping features for a client who changes their mind every week. You're building an intelligent, integrated platform inside one of Australia's fastest-growing professional services groups, on top of 12 months of strong technical foundations already laid.

You'll work across React frontends, PHP and Node backends, Python tooling, and TypeScript throughout. You'll touch AWS, GCP, and Azure. You'll design databases, solve hard problems, and keep security front of mind.

This team moves fast. But fast without reliability isn't fast, it's debt. You'll know the difference.

AI is central to how we build. Tools like Claude Code and Cursor aren't novelties here. They're how serious engineers accelerate.

What You'll Do

• Work out what the business and its users need from a system, and turn that into designs and technical specifications
• Write and maintain code to those specifications and to our quality standards
• Test, debug, diagnose and fix faults inside our testing protocols, so what ships performs to specification
• Find the limits and weak points in existing systems and the processes around them, and fix them
• Write and maintain technical documentation, user guides and operating procedures
• Build and run automated testing and deployment
• Collect and read operational metrics, and use them to make the platform faster and more reliable
• Spot and reduce risks to performance and security across the life of the product

At Senior and Lead Level You'll Also

• Own the architecture and technical direction of major parts of the platform
• Advise the directors on software strategy, including build or buy decisions and the costing of software purchases and upgrades
• Set the continuous improvement and continuous delivery practices the team works to
• Build the internal tools that support the software, its management and its security
• Set engineering standards, review code and mentor other engineers
• Lead projects end to end, from requirements through to production

What We're Looking For

• Strong full stack experience across React, PHP, JavaScript, Node, TypeScript, and Python
• Database design and optimisation across SQL and NoSQL
• Comfortable operating across cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• A track record of solving hard problems and shipping reliable software under pressure
• You produce clean, thoughtful code and you care about the engineer who comes after you
• You use AI tools actively and know how to get real leverage out of them
• A degree in software engineering, computer science or a related field, or experience that shows the same ability
• For senior and lead positions: you have owned a production platform end to end, led other engineers, and made architecture decisions you then had to live with

Remuneration

Engineer (junior to mid-level): $75,000 to $110,000 plus super.

Senior and Lead: $110,000 to $130,000 plus super.

Where you sit depends on your experience and capability.
